Naniggie: Run Baby Run

Nani and I joined a fun run and we sort of had a matching running shoes. :P I love my new rubber shoes from World Balance. The minty green and gray combination looks absolutely lovely. It's very comfortable to wear as well.

I bought the pair in SM Department Store for PHP 1499.00.

Nani, on the other hand, wore his Nike shoes. He loves NIKE. And I also noticed that he loves the combination of blue and gray. <3

Forever Parisian: Matte Brown Wedges

I love shoes. I love wedges. I love heels. If you like them the way I do, you've got to try Parisian. I fell in love with the brand back in college. Every time I visit SM Department Store, I always go to Parisian to check out their sales and new arrivals.

I love everything about the brand- the quality, accessibility, style and price. I was not used to wearing heels but when I bought my first pair of Parisian heels I was able to survive wearing it the whole day. The shoes were very comfortable yet stylish and chic. That being said, every pair of Parisian shoes I bought was worth the penny.

Last Sunday, our family went to SM Cubao to do some Christmas shopping. On a side note, I DID NOT BUY ANY MAKEUP!!! WOOHOO! Going back, I was watching out for a sale in SM especially in the shoe section. My first and last stop was Parisian. They almost always have items on sale so I was very excited to check out a few pairs. I tried a number of shoes and I had a hard time choosing which one to pick. I ended up buying something that was not on sale but it was still very affordable and cheaper than the other pair I was supposed to buy. I've been looking for a great pair of wedges that I can comfortably travel with since I only commute from and to school. And despite the haste of getting this pair (we went to SM around 9 pm so I only had 1 hour to shop), I wasn't disappointed.

Bought it @ Php699.75

I bought this by accident and here's a story behind this pair of shoes.

I was about to buy nude Parisian wedges that had a 20% off price tag. It was originally priced at Php 999 and  then it dropped to Php 800. I thought it was a steal and, at the same time, I liked the peep toe style and the bright print designs on the side.  I approached the SA to tell her I was going to buy the shoes but I was surprised when she told me that the it would be 50% off the next day. I was just looking at her for a few minutes because I didn't know how to react to the information she gave me. I mean why would you tell a customer that the price of the item she was planning to buy was going to drop the next day? Did she expect me to go back the following day? Was she trying to discourage me from paying more? She might have had a good intention for telling me that I could get the item at a lower price if I waited the next day. However, I didn't have the luxury of time. Some of us would probably feel bad and discouraged. If you can't go back or wait for the sale date, why would you buy an item that you know would depreciate greatly in value the following day? Practically, you would wait for the price to drop. Otherwise, you would not buy it at all. And I must reiterate the word PRACTICAL. If you have the cash to burn and time to spend, then it wouldn't really be a big deal.

I think it is okay to disclose such information but sometimes SAs should be sensitive as to when to inform the customer about it. I was about to pay for it for goodness sake. If you're trying to sell something and the customer is willing to pay, I think there is no need to disclose the information right before the customer pays for it. It's a sealed deal. Nakapili na ako ng sapatos, babayaran ko na lang.  Para mo na ring sinabi, wag mo munang bilhin ngayon. Bukas na lang. Di ko muna tatanggapin yung pera. Ano yon? Wag agad-agad??? Kalurkeyyy! Unless you can offer the customer a better transaction at that moment, just don't say anything about it. Kasi sa totoo lang hindi niya rin naman ako maaaccomodate kung gusto ko yung 50% discount diba? So kung hindi ako makakabalik, I need to pay Php 800 tapos the next day Php500 na lang siya. Hindi ba nakapanghihinayang? Php 300 din yon! Pangsine na sa MMFF!

I politely  returned the shoes on the rack and looked for something else. Hindi ko na lang pinaramdam sa kanya na sobrang nawala yung enthusiasm ko na bilhin yung sapatos. Wahahaha. :P

Then, my love for Parisian turned me to this pair of wedges!

Super comfy and light!!!

Love the Matte Brown Color

Feeling Tall hehe

I love how simple their logo is. :)

Very sturdy and the straps fit perfectly

I love the style of this pair of shoes. It looks great on my feet and it can match my casual and smart casual outfits. The wedges are available in brown and black. This is one of the new arrivals and Parisian offers a variety of style of wedges. Check them out and I would love to know what Parisian shoes you picked.

This pair was cheaper and it was fresh out of its box when I asked another SA for a new stock. I was still happy with my purchase and, although I felt bad at first, I was grateful that I didn't buy the previous pair. :P TEEHEE!

How about you ladies? What are your thoughts about the "SA incident"?

OOTD: Flower Patterned Skirts

I love colorful patterned skirts. Yesterday, I wore this outfit in school. BTW, I bought this a year ago and this has been my favorite skirt ever since.

A simple skirt I bought from SM and a plain black blouse I bought from Divisoria

I only have two pairs of flat shoes (that I use alternately in school) and this one is from NAFNAF. It was a gift from my Nani. <3 He surprised me with a Nafnaf Paperbag and told me that my old flats were worn out already so he bought me new ones! ^__^ It wasn't my birthday or anything so I was so happy he bought me a pair of shoes.

My everyday makeup look. The "No Makeup" Makeup

Now my room smells Mandarin Plum!

Ever since I bought scented candles, I've been hooked on the idea of making my room smell delicious.

I bought Poutpuri Oil: Miyake @ P99- Smells really good. :) and a drop goes a long way as the SA told me. I'm excited to try it out.

Berry Compote, Mandarin Plum @ P79 each. They look like chocolate bars.

I bought them at SM Department Store. (I'm a SM Department Store Girl. I buy most of my things there. It's like if I need something it's all there.)

trying Mandarin Plum... just slice a portion of the bar and let it melt.
Yey, It's melting and my room smells uber delicious. It's like I am in a luxurious Spa.
I'm planning to buy a wax and a scented oil burner for Nani so he can be more relaxed while studying. :) I'm thinking of buying vanilla wax cause that Vanilla is his favorite. <3

Anyway, I also bought a Shoe Organizer. I have this goal for the year to buy a pair of shoe every other month... but it ain't happening yet. Frugal Me... :P

bought Shoe Organizer at P399.75

Fanny Serrano Foundation @ P399
I also bought the Fanny Serrano Foundation in Silk. I've heard a lot of good reviews about it and at the same time, I've been looking a good powder foundation. I have oily skin and liquid foundations make my face look oilier at the end of the day. Since I commute going to school, I need a powder foundation to make my skin look more fresh and less oily. :)

If you have any thoughts about this product, feel free to share and leave a comment below.

BTW, if you're one of those who are have doubts, you might wanna read reviews some of my co-bloggers did.

Before I end my post, I just want to share to you my current facial cleansers. I was planning to buy just one and I grabbed apricot cleanser first. I wasn't sure if it's more of a scrub or cleanser cause it has the beads that one usually see in exfoliating scrubs. I asked the SA but she wasn't sure either. I haven't tried it but it smells really good.

Anyway, I was interested in the olive cleanser. As I've mentioned before, I don't do the three step skin care process so I thought it's really good if my cleanser was non drying and moisturizing. I tried the Olive Cleanser right after I arrived home. It's really moisturizing but I'm not sure if it deeply cleans my face. It's not the usual cleanser where you'll see bubbles while applying the product on your face. However, I'll give the benefit of the doubt that it deeply cleans my face.

Right now, I'm preventing my skin from having breakouts and I want to get rid of my blemishes as well. I hope these cleansers will not let me down. :P

PS. I hope all of you had a great SUNDAY!

Yey My tarsier loves the smell too :) Look at those BIG eyes. O_O

Etude Haul, New Nail Polishes, Make up Kit and More

Hello, girls! I hope you are enjoying summer.

Last Wednesday, I was able to visit Etude House @ SM Fairview. I never knew they had inexpensive nail polishes that were worth Php 48 and Php 98. So I grab the two shades that attracted me. I was also very glad that I was able to buy eyelid tapes at Php 58. Too bad, I did not bring my Pink Membership Card. :( But it was ok. I still enjoyed it.

I bought eyelid tapes not because I have monolids. Most of the time, whenever I'm stressed, my right eyelid becomes a monolid which makes me conscious because my eyes look weird . The culprit can be stress, a result of crying until I fell asleep... or both. So to avoid that semi-monolid situation (which I think will be frequent once law classes start), I bought these handy-dandy tapes. I tried it yesterday and it looked natural on my lid. I wasn't able to take pictures of me wearing it but I'll try to post it some other time.

From left to right: Etude House PP904 (Php 98), Elianto Night Glitters (Sale @ Php 60), Etude House BR307 (Php 48)

I also want to share with you guys the nail polishes I recently bought this year. My nail polish collection is growing FAST. I just can't help buying these cute nail polishes especially that they're very inexpensive. Speaking of inexpensive, I want to show you my new nail polish discovery: MUTYA.

From left to right: To Bee Farm, Cool Donsol, Honda Bay, Panglao Dive
I bought them at Php 44. 75 each. The packaging is catchy and chic. The gold coated cap makes this a little more sophisticated than other drugstore nail polishes. Aside from that, it has catchy names for each shades.

Here's a link from Mutya's website so that you can also check out the available shades.

Here is a picture of my growing nail polish collection.

I apologize for my very unattractive/distractive study table. I'm planning to organize my things this summer but I'm too lazy to clean my room. :P

Just like everyone else, I've been changing foundations as I find better products that suit my skin. I also discover new products to add to my make up kit. So another year, another updated make up kit.

1. Make up Bag I bought @SM Marikina
2. Nichido Eyebrow Pencil
3. Nichido Eyeliner Smudge free (although it will smudge a little bit if you have oily lids which I do. Hopefully I'll be able to find a good eyeliner for me. I'm still in search of that product)
4. IN2IT Mascara (brief review in this post)
5. VOV Cream Foundation
6. E.L.F Bronzer Powder (Luminance)
7. Nichido Mono Eyeshadow
8. Max Factor Weightless Foundation in Beige Linen ( I'm a shade lighter but I find this shade more natural for me. It covers my blemishes than my real shade)
9. Revlon Nude Lipstick ( I don't really wear it but I still bring it)
10. E.L.F All-Over-Stick in Golden Peach
11. Etude House Eyelid tapes.

Before I end my post I also want to share with you some crafts and furnitures I want to buy to add accent in my room. Not sure if I can buy the chair though. I visited KULTURA PILIPINAS store @ SM MOA and it is worth almost Php 10,000.

This looks great for organizing my nail polish collection. :D

Disclaimer: Not from KULTURA but I'd love to have this in my room!

Who doesn't want a nice shoe rack/shelf?

Thanks for reading and have a nice weekend!
