I'm not really sure. I think at that time I haven't "rebonded" my hair for more than a year. But it really depends on the type of hair cut. My hairstylist cut my hair in layers so that my curls won't appear too thick and somehow it would bring back that natural wave of my hair. If I had my hair cut straight, the curls would be so much different. I would suggest that you cut your hair at least shoulder length. If you have frizzy, thick and curly hair like mine, it will also help to cut them in layers. I'll post before and after pictures. :)
This was how long it was before I cut the rebonded hair. It looked straight here because I used my iron.
It was so difficult for me to style my hair. It takes more than three hours for me to straighten it. I found it quite expensive to maintain a rebonded hair. Aside from having a retouch every 6 months to 1 year, I'm advised to have a hair treatment every month. Unfortunately, I don't have the budget to have a well maintained rebonded hair.
I simply iron my bangs for the final touch. :)
I hope this helps for those who wants to love the natural waves of their hair. Give your hair a chance to be HAIRself. Who knows... you might like it in the end.
