My Super Special Guest Blogger: Nani

 

 

Hi girls. I'm writing a guest entry for Maggie's blog for today. First of I'd like to make a waiver that I'm not a very good writer like her so if the quality of the post is not up to standard with the usual posts in this blog, please understand. I first met Maggie in our theology class in college. She sat beside me (hmmm... bkt kaya? marami naman upuan sa ibang side) but we only started talking when our professor Fr. Giordano (favorite Jesuit ko yan) assigned us a group project. So as our college days went by, we got to know more about each other and everything after that, as what they say, is history.

 

            Maggie is such a sweet girl. She's the most caring and considerate girlfriend I ever had. Nowadays, we're both law students. Yes, it is very stressful but it was both our choice and we are going to grind it out until the end. But what can I say, she really is the better of the two of us. Grabe yan kahit super stressed na yan kakaaral buong gabi she still finds time to bring my favorite food to school (spam and buttered corn yum yum yum).

 

            I also like the weirdness of our relationship. Pareho kasi tayo weird eh. Maggie has this weird habit of making weird sound effects after her sentences haha. That's why I call her theater arts. It's funny but those are actually the things that I miss most when we're not together. I also love the way she calls me at the middle of the night to say "Nani ang baho baho mo, I love you goodnight."       

 

            Not everyone can truly and sincerely say this to another person but I can happily say that getting to know Maggie has been the best thing that happened in my life. Words really can't express how much I love you, Mag. The best part about our relationship is that as time goes by, along with the numerous obstacles and challenges in our lives, you're always there at the end of the day to sit beside me and make me smile :)

Love Turned Me To You

Having a heart that has been broken so many times, I never saw myself loving a person unconditionally and selflessly again. I'd been very protective and defensive about my feelings because it had been difficult to let my guard down and end up getting hurt again. I didn't want to end up the same broken person when I started my second relationship. I wasn't completely healed but there was a mysterious force that led me to another relationship albeit it never guaranteed certainty of a successful love life. But, I guess, in the face of love, one can't help but embrace the pain and just let go of everything just so that one can make another person happy. 

When I entered the relationship with Nani, I told myself I wanted to be happy. Looking at myself right now and how our relationship has grown, I realize that I want to make him happy more than I think of my own happiness.

Thank you for always understanding your bugnuting girlfriend. 

Thank you for being my punching and pinching bag. 

Thank you for listening to my endless rants. 

Thank you for being stronger for me.

Thank you for your funny jokes whenever I am sad. 

Salamat dahil di ka nagsasawang katelebabad ako sa gabi. (Araw-araw na nga tayong nagkikita sa school... tinatawagan pa rin kita pag-uwi ko kasi namimiss kita agad XD *blush*)

Salamat dahil hindi mo ko iniiwan kahit mas madali akong iwanan kapag nag-aaway tayo... 

Salamat sa mga masasayang laro natin ng Call of Duty Black Ops, Ghost Sniper Warrior, Counterstrike at GTA San Andreas. YOU SNEAKY SNIPER, HAPPY CAMPER!

Thank you for making me a part of your family. I know family is very important to you and I admire you for that.

The Perfect Two

Hello, everyone! Another long weekend! YEHEY!

I just want to share the video that I made for Nani's sister who is getting married this coming Friday. I'm really happy for her because last year, she and her fiance became lawyers and, now, both of them are getting married. It's like every year is a new blessing. And their story is a perfect example of waiting for everything to fall in the right place. I'm not saying that there's something wrong with getting married early at a very young age but, we must admit, that marriage is not easy. We can't just walk in a relationship and say, "Hey, let's get married!" Or we can't just commit and get pregnant without thinking of stability because the reality is that we cannot walk out of a marriage as fast as we have walked in it. It's a lifetime commitment. And if in the middle of such commitment, you find out that you no longer want to be with your partner, it's going to be terrible.  But hey, this post is not about that.

We may have different views about relationships but for me, it's better to prepare a stable future before settling down. Whenever I think of marriage, it really puts a smile on my face because the thought of being with the person I love for the rest of my life makes me very happy. That's my ultimate dream: to have a family. I have other dreams like being a successful lawyer, having multiple businesses, travelling around the world and accomplishing other wonderful things but I dedicate them all to my family in the future. I am nothing without the people I love. I cannot live just by thinking of myself. I always see myself being with other people. And that's me- relationships are very important to me. And I am hoping that in the future, I'll be able to build a family full of love and happiness. 

PS. Ang ganda ng Ate ni Nani.. tas guapo rin si Kuya Nikko. Wahahaha! Parang naexcite ako kung ano magiging itsura ng anak nila. Sigurado ako super cute. ^___^ Excited lol!

He Puts a Smile On My Face.

When we first met, I never thought that you would be that special person in my life.

We were friends in our own little world; we'd chat all night long but, in school, we're shy to talk to each other.

When I got to know you more, I realized that it was not impossible for me to like... or love you.






You were that shy type of person who's very awkward in asking a girl for a date.


You were awkward when you first asked me out.


You were awkward when you told me you like me.


You were more awkward when you first told me you love me.

But I guess that awkwardness brought me closer to you.

You were not that good with words but your love embraced me...




In such a way no words can express...

You changed my life. 


From that lonely girl who always thought love will work out as long as I simply hold on and wait till the storm is over...

To that girl who realized that love will only grow in a relationship of two people working together harmoniously.
