Despite having a summer vacation, I hardly visit any mall nowadays to buy new clothes, shoes and other beauty necessities. Ironically, I never thought I'll be more busy during vacation than school days. I have been helping out my parents in our family business and I also have my own business sidelines which explain the lack of updates on my blog and Youtube channel. Bon Marche: Neon Necklaces!

I've never been a fan of bold necklaces. Maybe because I don't see myself wearing them everyday considering the type of clothes I have in my closet. Also, I commute most of the time which is probably the reason I don't like wearing accessories that catch too much attention. :P I like the low profile look and toned down accessories. If you notice in most of my OOTDs, I simply wear pearl earrings and necklace (not the real pearls, of course). 

But all that changed when a close friend of mine sent me two necklaces. And I only have three words to describe them: bold, sexy and attractive. Hahaha! Whenever I wear them, I feel like I'm never afraid of wearing colors. And in case you don't know, the woman behind these necklaces was the same person who made "AnnaNani" rings. Her name is Maree Policarpio, the proud owner of BON MARCHE.  

I love wearing her neon necklaces with a plain shirt or blouse. It makes my casual outfit look more fun and vibrant. I'm really glad Maree sent me these items.


I have posted few pictures on my facebook page a few weeks back but I only showed the neon yellow and green combination. As promised, I'm going to reveal the second necklace she gave me.

Zalora Philippines Grand Launch

WARNING: This post is photo-heavy.

Last week, I attended the Zalora Philippines Grand Launch at Sky Lounge, Bonifacio Global City. It was a fashion event so I looked into my closet for something fashionable and comfortable. I wanted to wear a skirt or a dress but, since Nani and I were going to commute, I decided to wear my harem pants. Mahirap makipagsiksikan sa MRT na nakapalda. So gora na lang maghaharem pants ako. I also found my sleeveless top which I bought a long time ago. 

I finally used the ELF Beauty Manual Face Edition and I was impressed. I loved the shimmering creams. They made my skin look healthy and glowing. :) I'm currently eyeing on the shimmering palette by ELF. Kahit walang blush basta may shimmering cream, ok na ako. HAHA. To compliment my natural makeup look, I used Ever Bilena Matte Lipsticks in Mauvey and Off Beat Pink.

Apparently, I love wearing pearls. :) I didn't have any other accessories that would match my outfit so, I thought, my pearl earrings would do.

Now let's go to the main event: ZALORA PHILIPPINES GRAND LAUNCH. I think the company did a great job on marketing its website and its business idea- bringing the ultimate online shopping experience in the Philippines. I was already aware of the company prior to the invite because I saw their ads in Facebook, Youtube and other websites. It carries a number of local and international brands and it continues to expand not only with brand choices but with the product categories as well. Aside from shoes, clothes and accessories,  it also offers home and living, and sports products. 

Another great thing about this company is that it has same-day delivery and free shipping nationwide. WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR? If you don't have the time to visit a mall, Zalora is the best place to go. It's a girl's best shopping buddy. Moreover, its website has a very appealing interface- very neat, organized and user-friendly too. Now if you're still unconvinced, let me tell you that it also offers Cash-On-Delivery (COD). That means you don't have to make a deposit in a bank unlike the payment routines with other online stores. Thank goodness to the persons who made these things possible.

Before I end this post, let me just share with you the person I was with the entire night. She's my savior! :P  Sobrang lost talaga ako. :P Good thing I met this wonderful lady and had a great company during the event.

Both of us agreed to go home early since I have Nani waiting for me outside the building and she needed to finish some work. However, we didn't leave the premises until we took some vain photos together. HAHA. Pinag-interesan namin ang photobooth. Kailangang makapagphotobooth kami bago umuwi. :P Pati Ladies' Room nabiktima namin. lol.

I thought petite girls couldn't wear boots but she proved me wrong. Parang gusto ko na tuloy magboots.

Tas sobrang layo niya pa sa may amin. :( Swerte talaga ako sayo, lablab. :) Minsan napapaiyak ako kapag uuwi na siya sa kanila tapos medyo late na at alam kong magcocommute lang siya... kasi alam ko yung feeling e. Haha. Sacrifice talaga yung ganon lalo na kapag mahirap sumakay pauwi. *biglang nagreminisce... gumaganon*
