My Zalora Top Ten Picks

Hello, everyone!

Despite having a summer vacation, I hardly visit any mall nowadays to buy new clothes, shoes and other beauty necessities. Ironically, I never thought I'll be more busy during vacation than school days. I have been helping out my parents in our family business and I also have my own business sidelines which explain the lack of updates on my blog and Youtube channel. If you're a busy bee like me, don't fret because there are ways to update your wardrobe with summer finds without going out and/or visiting malls. Good thing Zalora PH is here to cater to the needs of those who would want to shop online in the comfort of their homes instead of battling against the tremendous heat outdoors.

After browsing the ZALORA online store, I thought of sharing the items I found affordable yet interesting to use and wear this summer. (Product photos were taken from their site.)

MY TOP 10 ZALORA ITEMS

1. Scarlet Flat Sandals

PRICE: PHP 799.00

A pair of flat sandals is a must during summer! I love this Scarlet Sandals because the color is vibrant and perfect for summer. You can pair this up with white shorts or skinny jeans!

2. Sprint Fling Crop Top

Mandy V-studs Crop Top

PRICE: PHP 512.00 (discounted price)
Two things to love about it- it has a gorgeous shade of peach and it has golden studs. Also, it is discounted from PHP 669.68 to PHP 512.00. What a great deal! :)

3. Spring Fling Summer Dress

Spring Fling Penny Printed Short Sleeves Summer Dress

PRICE: PHP 695.00

What is a girl's wardrobe without a great looking dress? This summer dress is definitely a hit! I would love to pair this with my lavender wedges.
4. Collective.com Dress with Floral Print

Collective.com with Dress with Floral Print
PRICE: PHP 450.00
Love the colors and details. This feminine dress is perfect when going out with your family or friends for a vacation trip. Just pair it with a comfortable footwear  like the Scarlet Ciorsdan flat sandals and embrace the great outdoors!

5. Ciracle Volcanic Mask
Ciracle Jeju Volcanic Mask

PRICE: PHP 990.00

If you have a combination/oily skin like me, you would want to invest on skin care products that will tighten your pores and prevent blemishes. This volcanic mask contains volcanic ash that helps cleanse skin impurities.
6. Lioele  Waterdrop Sleeping Pack

Lioele V-line Waterdrop Sleeping Pack

PRICE: PHP 595.00

If you're enjoying vacation, most of you probably don't spend it on sleeping early or completing the 8-hour beauty sleep. If you ask me, I spend my night time playing my favorite games like Sleeping Dogs or Tomb Raider 2013 (finished TOMB RAIDER!!! OH YEAH). But don't judge me. It is the only time of the day that I can really do what I want because I spend my day time in our family business. Teehee! Anyway, Lioele Waterdrop Sleeping Pack is a necessity for someone who wants to look awake and less tired. This product promises to hydrate your skin making it look more radiant and moisturized.
7.  Virginia Olsen Eyeliner

Virginia Olsen Blue Eyeliner

PRICE: PHP 150.00

Traditionally, I apply a black eyeliner to shape and define my eyes. I would love to try this blue color as I saw one makeup tutorial by Ana Victorino and another from Say Artillero using a blue eyeliner. This can add a great twist to one's summer makeup look.
8.  Barenaturals African Black Soap

Obuasi African Black Soap

PRICE: PHP 138.00

If you're suffering from blemishes and dark spots like me, this is the product we should try. :P I've been reading good reviews about African Black Soap and this might be the perfect time to test it out.
9. Graftobian HD Glamour Creme Foundation

Graftobian Hi-Def Glamour Creme Foundation in Temptress

PRICE: PHP 1,200.00
I really want to try this HD creme foundation for a flawless, blemish-free look!
10. KB Korean Magic Towel

KB Korean Magic Towel

PRICE: PHP 99.00

Magic Towel for less than a hundred peso? Count me in. This claims to exfoliate dead skin cells and helps the body undergo metabolic changes. Di naman obvious na gusto matanggal blemishes ko no? And the good thing about this products is that you can use this from head to toe. But I suggest getting two boxes because you definitely would not want to use one towel for both your face and feet. LOL!

MANELS: Manels Nation Fashion Bloggers

I don't really consider myself as a fashion blogger as I rarely post fashionable looks unlike the legit fashion bloggers. That's why I was surprised when I was featured by Manels. Then, I got a notification from Sir Mark that Manels Nation 3 is out in their stores. I never really understood what he meant until I saw this tarpaulin at SM Fairview. Haha! Nagdate kami ni Pangga non! :P

Remember this picture?

I was wearing Pangga's gift to me during the Zalora event. :) Pangga lablab bought me a nice pair of wooden clogs which was on sale during my birthday. :) I personally chose this pair as they look classy and comfortable. :)

Thank you, Manels, for featuring me as part of Manels Nation 3! :)

Comfy Feet

Heat in the Philippines is taking its toll. It's very hot here in Manila specifically that I suddenly miss our Baguio vacation last Holy Week. Speaking of Baguio, let me share with you the comfort footwear I bought there.

My family and I visited Mines View. I wasn't really expecting anything new to buy because we always visit there every holy week and the stores pretty much sell the same things. Then I saw just one store selling shoes for Php 150 and the shoes look comfortable. I initially wanted the black shoes but it didn't have my size so I opted for the brown one. It comes with different colors and patterns but I chose to go for the simple one-color shoes so that I can pair it up with any of my casual outfits. ^___^

I really like the shoes because it's comfortable for walking however you can really feel that the materials used were low quality. It didn't bother me since I got it for a very low price. Ain't complaining. :P

After visiting Mines View, we went to SM Baguio for some shopping and I bought a pair of slippers. This pair of slippers reminds me of "banig" because I used to sleep on that when I was younger. :P I bought for Php 99.75.

I totally love the design because it looks and feels Filipino. :)

Weeeeeee!

Wearin' it like a boss. :)

Anyway, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I kind of miss Baguio because the climate there is so much better than here in Manila. I love the cold breeze in the morning! :) Too bad we had to go back earlier than planned because my brothers have some school requirements to finish. :( We only stayed there for 2 days. Hindi namin nasagad ang minsang long weekend. :(

Well, I hope you had a great holy week with your family.

Have a lovely day!

Forever Parisian: Matte Brown Wedges

I love shoes. I love wedges. I love heels. If you like them the way I do, you've got to try Parisian. I fell in love with the brand back in college. Every time I visit SM Department Store, I always go to Parisian to check out their sales and new arrivals.

I love everything about the brand- the quality, accessibility, style and price. I was not used to wearing heels but when I bought my first pair of Parisian heels I was able to survive wearing it the whole day. The shoes were very comfortable yet stylish and chic. That being said, every pair of Parisian shoes I bought was worth the penny.

Last Sunday, our family went to SM Cubao to do some Christmas shopping. On a side note, I DID NOT BUY ANY MAKEUP!!! WOOHOO! Going back, I was watching out for a sale in SM especially in the shoe section. My first and last stop was Parisian. They almost always have items on sale so I was very excited to check out a few pairs. I tried a number of shoes and I had a hard time choosing which one to pick. I ended up buying something that was not on sale but it was still very affordable and cheaper than the other pair I was supposed to buy. I've been looking for a great pair of wedges that I can comfortably travel with since I only commute from and to school. And despite the haste of getting this pair (we went to SM around 9 pm so I only had 1 hour to shop), I wasn't disappointed.

Bought it @ Php699.75

I bought this by accident and here's a story behind this pair of shoes.

I was about to buy nude Parisian wedges that had a 20% off price tag. It was originally priced at Php 999 and  then it dropped to Php 800. I thought it was a steal and, at the same time, I liked the peep toe style and the bright print designs on the side.  I approached the SA to tell her I was going to buy the shoes but I was surprised when she told me that the it would be 50% off the next day. I was just looking at her for a few minutes because I didn't know how to react to the information she gave me. I mean why would you tell a customer that the price of the item she was planning to buy was going to drop the next day? Did she expect me to go back the following day? Was she trying to discourage me from paying more? She might have had a good intention for telling me that I could get the item at a lower price if I waited the next day. However, I didn't have the luxury of time. Some of us would probably feel bad and discouraged. If you can't go back or wait for the sale date, why would you buy an item that you know would depreciate greatly in value the following day? Practically, you would wait for the price to drop. Otherwise, you would not buy it at all. And I must reiterate the word PRACTICAL. If you have the cash to burn and time to spend, then it wouldn't really be a big deal.

I think it is okay to disclose such information but sometimes SAs should be sensitive as to when to inform the customer about it. I was about to pay for it for goodness sake. If you're trying to sell something and the customer is willing to pay, I think there is no need to disclose the information right before the customer pays for it. It's a sealed deal. Nakapili na ako ng sapatos, babayaran ko na lang.  Para mo na ring sinabi, wag mo munang bilhin ngayon. Bukas na lang. Di ko muna tatanggapin yung pera. Ano yon? Wag agad-agad??? Kalurkeyyy! Unless you can offer the customer a better transaction at that moment, just don't say anything about it. Kasi sa totoo lang hindi niya rin naman ako maaaccomodate kung gusto ko yung 50% discount diba? So kung hindi ako makakabalik, I need to pay Php 800 tapos the next day Php500 na lang siya. Hindi ba nakapanghihinayang? Php 300 din yon! Pangsine na sa MMFF!

I politely  returned the shoes on the rack and looked for something else. Hindi ko na lang pinaramdam sa kanya na sobrang nawala yung enthusiasm ko na bilhin yung sapatos. Wahahaha. :P

Then, my love for Parisian turned me to this pair of wedges!

Super comfy and light!!!

Love the Matte Brown Color

Feeling Tall hehe

I love how simple their logo is. :)

Very sturdy and the straps fit perfectly

I love the style of this pair of shoes. It looks great on my feet and it can match my casual and smart casual outfits. The wedges are available in brown and black. This is one of the new arrivals and Parisian offers a variety of style of wedges. Check them out and I would love to know what Parisian shoes you picked.

This pair was cheaper and it was fresh out of its box when I asked another SA for a new stock. I was still happy with my purchase and, although I felt bad at first, I was grateful that I didn't buy the previous pair. :P TEEHEE!

How about you ladies? What are your thoughts about the "SA incident"?

Shoes for School

Semestral Break is about to end so I decided to buy new shoes for school. I only commute via fx and LRT to my college and most of the time, I just walk. Hence, comfortable shoes are important for students like me. I wanted new flats that can go along with smart casual outfits and at the same time, I wanted a pair of shoes that has heels but  at most 2 inches tall. So I bought two pairs; I bought one from SM Department Store and the other from 999 Divisoria.

From left to right: Parisian, DS Style

I want to look taller but I don't want my feet to suffer from wearing high heels. Good thing, Parisian shoes were on sale and I bought a pair with a 50% discount. I love it when SM department store offer big discounts. It saves me a lot of money. Originally, this pair is worth Php 499.75 but I only paid around Php250.

I love its simplicity of the design and the color can easily match up with any outfit. At the same time, I feel comfortable wearing this shoes.

I LOVE PARISIAN

The other pair I bought was from 999 Divisoria. I love the metallic silver material of the shoes and the black stripe as an additional detail. The design is simple yet chic. I bought this pair for Php 250 although, initially, it was priced at Php 280.

I love shoes! Now, I have two pairs for a total of Php 500.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great long weekend!
