Product Review: Miners Matte Effect Lipstick in Wonderland

Here is my in depth review of Miners Matte Effect Lipstick in Wonderland.

What I Like:

• The color pay off is very impressive. The pigmentation of the lipstick gives justice to the pretty deep coral shade. And I agree to one of my readers that this color is very compatible with Pinay skin complexion.  

• The lipstick covers the lips well. I have lines on my lips and I'm happy that it covers them entirely. 

• The packaging is lovely- it looks so elegant and the bottom part shows an accurate shade of the lipstick. What you see is what you get. 

• Although this lipstick has a matte effect, it smoothly glides on the lips when applied. It is a little bit creamy compare to the other matte lipsticks I have tried. Hence, it is not drying on the lips.

• It's relatively affordable at Php 300. The color quality you get is worth the moolah.

• The scent is very pleasant.  It smells like fruity candy and cherry. 

• The lipstick lasted for 2-3 hours even after eating and drinking. I ate pizza (with lotsa hot sauce) and lasagna (Greenwich) so considering how messy these meals are, two to three hours is pretty decent. If you use it in an event, it's probably going to last 4-5 hours even if you drink and eat provided that you do so with caution. teehee. Tip: To extend the life of your lipstick, blot your lips with tissue after application. 

• Although Miners Matte Effect Lipstick comes in limited shades, the product line carries unique and wearable colors like Wonderland. So pretty! :) 

What I Don't Like:

• The lipstick tube is not that sturdy. Whenever I twist it, it feels like it's going to break. So be gentle. Haha. 

• Miners Cosmetics are not locally accessible in the market so the only way to buy this lipstick is through an online seller. So make sure you order from a trusted seller! Buy from The Pinkish Hub.

• The lipstick can easily melt if not stored properly. The worst thing that can happen is breaking your lipstick in half. And that happened to me; MMEL in Fiesta broke in half. Good thing I was able to repair it. :P Tip: Melt the end of the lipstick, the one that parted with the tube, and stick it on the other part. Then store it in the freezer for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Is it worth a purchase?

I did not buy this lipstick but I personally like it. It has an excellent pigmentation  even when applied on dry lips. Wonderland is truly a beautiful coral shade that is perfect for Pinay skin tone. 

Let my lips be the judge.
