Blair is one of my favorite Make up Gurus in youtube. And I'm really amazed that she really went out to show in public her face without make up (using an HD cam). She discussed about acne scarring. And somehow I can relate because although I didn't suffer from severe acne like she did, I have acne scarring near my cheeks and uneven skin tone right above my lips.
Being a make up guru and probably a popular one, a lot of people perceive of you as having a perfect skin. It's really great of Blair to say, "No, I don't have a perfect skin."
In a world full of deception especially in the age of "photoshopping", many of us might be troubled by our skin problems thinking that we're not perfect enough; we're not beautiful enough to be confident with ourselves.
So here's her video about her foundation routine. Although I find her make up quite expensive especially here in the Philippines, this video is still helpful. If you have the money to spend, I guess the products she used are available here (probably Rustan's and other high end malls). Enjoy her video!

Hi sis! As for the AHA cream... you don't have to be under the supervision of a derma to use it.
ReplyDeleteFor my daily regimen, I spent a lot more than I should have because my derma overpriced the products I use.
For the small bottle of Avene, I paid P650. But a little goes a long way. Been using it since Oct, not even half yet. (BTW, it was repackaged.
For a small amount of Neostrata AHA lotion, I paid P650 -- this was repackaged as well. But I've been using mine since April, and there's still a lot left.
I know there's local AHA lotion somewhere, it's cheaper. Try searching around. :)
thanks, chrissy! I'm looking forward to read your next updates. :)
ReplyDeleteAnna, I don't know where else you can buy the Accutane/Isotane. I bought mine a box at a time (30 pcs 10 mg each capsule). The first month I had to buy 2 boxes since i had to take 20 mg a month.
ReplyDeleteIt set me back P1800 a box, with the discount. Otherwise it would cost P2400 (although the derma overpriced it). If you look online I'm sure you can find boxes that go for P2000. Please remember, I don't recommend that you take this without the supervision of a dermatologist or a doctor.
*20 mg a day
ReplyDeletewow.. yeah. I really need the supervision of a dermatologist. Who's your dermatologist? San ba yung derma clinic na napuntahan mo?
ReplyDeleteCheck my post, I edited it to add my derma's info. :)
