Sunday Shopping

It's the first time I went to a mall without looking at the make-up/skin care product stalls. I went to SM Cubao with my mom and shopped there. A lot of items are on sale. I'm pretty much liking SM nowadays. It sells a lot of great items for low prices. Fashion and designs are quite updated too. ("updated" in a Philippine setting; globally, Philippines is still behind the current trends)

So anyway, these are the things I bought:

1. Make up bag.

There are two colors available: Silver and Gold. I like this one better because
silver is one of my favorite colors.
I love it the first time I saw it. It's spacious and the material is durable.

It's simple.

It has no compartments but I still like it. I can put my perfume, make up brushes and what not.

It's quite cheap considering the size and the quality. :)

2. Skinny Jeans

I bought two jeans. I'm petite so I'm very happy it fitted me well.

They're on sale. I bought them for P600 each.

3. Sandals? I don't know if you call this sandals. Haha. Sorry but I'm not really familiar with the different types of sandals, step in, and all the others. I'm confused sometimes.. especially now that most "slippers-looking" footwear are classified sandals just because of the strap. :P

My First Parisian Footwear

Hehe, They're discounted too. teehee. I love discounts. :D

4. Undergarments. Hahaha. Bra? lol

They look so cute so I bought them. :D

5. Laptop Mouse. Yey! I bought a new one. It's more sleek than the previous one I had.

6. ANDDDD! A MOUSE PAD WHEREIN YOU CAN PUT A PHOTO. PHOTOMOUSEPAD

Thanks, mom for buying all these stuffs for me. I love you! :P

Hope you had a great Sunday, guys!

The New Shawill Mono Eyeshadow

I've been buying Shawill eyeshadows for some time and I really like how pigmented they are and at the same time affordable. Yes, I know I said I'm going to stop buying new make up especially the eyeshadow but I just can't resist them.

I have two reasons.

1. The packaging is so cute that it reminds me of etude. Not really etude eyeshadows but their funky packaging designs like their hair brush and organizers. :P
2. It is incredibly cheap. How cheap??? Php 69 (that's USD 1.5)

(Look... my nails are pale. :P)

69 for real.

And so I bought three shades that I can use for my everyday look.

Shade 01

Shade 02

And shade 06

Shade 02 and 06 looks the same at a glance. But when I swatched them, there's a huge difference.

Shade 02, 01, 06 respectively

The SA told me that these eye shadows really last longer and more pigmented than the first set of eye shadows the company released. And I agree. I'm so excited to use shade 01. :)

The pigment is somehow comparable to that of 4U2 so I really like it. I planned to buy the 4U2 pallete before but it's a little out of my budget. But now that I've discovered the new Shawill mono eyeshadow, I can get more colors while paying at a lower price. :P BTW, Shawill has a good range of colors to choose from. they have two shades of blue, then there's white, pink, green, gold and many more. Check them out. I think Watsons that carry Shawill has these already. :P

And they also released BB CREAM. It comes with 4 shades. It's P100+ surprisingly. I didn't buy any because I'm happy with my Maybelline BB cream. :P Maybe next time. Haha.

Anyway, I bought other stuffs too.

I bought two of Shade 01. I'm going to give it as a gift for my friend who's just
starting to like make up. Haha. ^_^

I bought it for P125 @ Fanny Serano

It's really slim. :P I saw Elle via Youtube using a slim eyelash curler. :P
And she likes the effect of using this type of curler so I bought this with no second thoughts.

I bought an Eyeliner. I've been using Sara Lee Eye Liner that was actually my mom's.
So I thought of buying my own. :P And it's smudge proof.

Black. :P

Thanks for reading my blog!

Have a great day!

Before I sleep...

I've been moved by a couple of blogs I've read this past few days. These blogs concern about collecting too much make up although the other one doesn't really focus on that. It's really difficult for me to post a lot of make up products because I've just started buying make up and I don't really know how to put them on especially the eye make up.

When I started beauty blogging, I began buying a number of make up products, most of which, I don't use regularly so they're just stuck in my closet for quite some time. This month I bought a number of stuff and you can observe that on my previous blogs. That's the most that I can afford to buy so they're not really plenty compare to other make up bloggers but that's quite a collection for a starter. To tell the truth, I don't really enjoy spending a lot. The irony, isn't it? But I started to spend a little too much because I wanted to explore more and I'd get excited when I hear great review about a certain make up brand/stuff.

Then, suddenly, I realize that hey... I've been buying a good number of stuffs but still... I don't get to learn how to play with 'em. And so I want to take it easy.

For my foundation, I'll stick with two products: Maybelline BB cream and Maybelline Mineral Liquid Foundation.

For my eyes, I'll use Ever Bilena Eyeliner Pencil, Avon Quad (I use the brown eye shadow), Shawill Pallete no. 3, Elianto Mascara

Then for the blush, I use Beauty Treat Mineral Blush shade Apricot.

Brushes: ELF Eyeshadow Brush, ELF Blending Brush and ETUDE Dual Fibre Brush.

I'm waiting for my nyx lippies. I bought them from Digital Traincase and I'm just waiting for my orders to arrive. Those were lippies so that will complete my make up kit. :)

BTW, for my lips, I use Egyptian Magic Cream. I bought it since bubzbeauty recommended it but I was quite disappointed in it. It isn't that magical for me. Maybe, it's because of the weather here... It's to humid you wouldn't want something too oily, shiny, petroleum jelly like thing on your face. I use this as my Lip Balm and so far it healed my chapped lips. (Drink lots of H20 for best results. HAHAHA)

I know it's more exciting to buy new stuffs. But I'll try to learn make up first through using what I have right now. Hopefully, I can now put a decent make up... blend a lot of colors, make gorgeous FOTD/EOTD and all that. HAHA. I'm excited. Once, I master the basics... that's the time I'll try buying again... :) in moderation. HAHA.

Anyway, my focus for the next months would be Skin Care, SHOES and CLOTHES.

I LOVE PARISIAN SHOES. :(( But I have no money left. I'll save for a pair. :)

Before I sleep.. I tried to do a smokey eye. I watched a guru in youtube who used nyx products to create a smokey eye. I forget her youtube account but the title of her video is Smokey Eyes under $10.

I tried it and somehow... I like it. HAHA

(I'm in my sleeping Attire... just my P.E T shirt back in High school :P)

Nyahaha... Change outfit. :D

And yeah.. I mimicked Sandara Park's Hair but mine's too short so that's the closest I could get

I used Black eyeshadow then over it is Moss Green Eyeshadow. (both from Shawill Palette)

My Shawill Pallete. :) I like it so much. :D

So there you go... My Face of the NIGHT. I look silly. Teehee.

Love you, guys!

Have a great day/night!

Mall Hopping with Juju

Hey guys. here's my recent Self Portrait. I've been working on my portfolio and this summer, I'll be attending a photography workshop to hone my skills. Nope, I'm not using a DSLR... not ven a high end, high quality compact digicam. But this month, my mom promised to support me on this. :) I hope she buys me a DSLR. please please please. So anyway, back to my real post. teehee.

I met up with a beauty blogger, Juju last Feb. 27. We went to SM Megamall, SM Cubao and Gateway to buy and browse make up products. Our first stop is ETUDE HOUSE in SM Megamall. And here's what I bought:

I don't really like pink but this time... this pink paperbag comes with great surprises. :)

I only bought 4 items amounting to over a thousand pesos so I got a freebie!
Etude ran out of Eyelash curlers so they're giving away MINERAL BB CREAM SAMPLES!
Don't miss this chance. :)

Alright. The first thing I grabbed is the Color Me Nude lip concealer. This one is reserved by someone but since she didn't confirm, the SA allowed me to purchase it. Lucky day! :) This is worth P228.

Thanks, Thiamere for recommending me this one! This is a good substitute for Nude lipstick. You can use this as your base so when you put on your lipstick, it will make it smoother and long lasting. :)

tadahh! It's the Dual Fibre Brush. I super love this brush. It's really good for stippling. I don't have other brushes so I can't really compare it other brands. I heard it's a great alternative for the MAC Version. I use this in applying my Maybelline Mineral Foundation and so far, I'm liking it.

You can use this as your blush, powder or foundation brush. :)

It's worth P428. I think that's a good steal considering it's performance as a dual brush. :)

Juju bought this one too. I got intrigued by Etude Skin care line so I grabbed this one. (It's one of the cheaper products). :D  It's a heating scrub. I tried Garnier Heating Mask and I really love the warm feeling on my skin. This time it's a scrub and it works against blackheads so I gave it a try.

I'm on my second week so I can't really give my verdict on this product. I'll post my skin care product review soon. And of course that would include my update on the VMV skin care products I bought. I'm so excited. teehee.

This stuff is worth P298. They have other products on the same line so you might want to try them. :) They also have a guide as to what product you can use to get rid of your black heads. :)

Actually, I only bought this stuff so I can hit P1000. This is worth P98. I don't know how to put these on but I'll try it this summer. :) Any tutorials guys? Haha.

Yey! So I got this one as a freebie.
Juju told me this works so good. But I hope she makes a review soon. I'm thinking of buying this one.
However, I don't want to buy it just because it sounds so good. Haha. I'm fine with my new foundation routine so I'm thinking if I'm going to replace it with this one. :P I've been buying a number of foundation (BB creams included) so I don't know... Haha. :) I'll stick with Maybelline for now. (Juju.. SPECIAL REQUEST: REVIEW)

Familiar with this plastic? Yeah. SM. haha lol
So I only bought one stuff in SM Cubao. :) I didn't really plan to buy any make up there because my intention was really to browse shoes for my graduation party. :)

But, oh well, who can resist this?
It's Maybelline Clear Smooth Mineral Liquid Foundation.
It's very affordable. For a price of P299, you can have a flawless skin. I was thinking of trying Maybelline Angel Lift but the SA told me that this one has a better coverage.

I use this together with Maybelline BB cream and (oh my) this works like a miracle. This is worth a try guys.
Seriously. My laugh lines are somewhat invisible and the shade really blends well on my face so it feels and looks as if I have no foundation on. LOVE IT.

THE LAST STOP

Juju went home earlier than I did so I simply hang out on the mall (gateway) alone while I wait for my boyfriend. I went inside Rustan's department store and I found this.

BUBBLEGUM

hehe. It's so cute. I thought, at first, the color of this balm is blue but I was wrong. It is actually pink.

This is worth P79.

So these are the things I bought. I really enjoyed hanging out with Juju, Our next mall hopping is in Greenbelt and I can't wait to go there. If you guys know make up stores, let me know. I haven't been there. Hehe. As a student, I'm a home buddy type of girl.  School-house-Family Business. That's my life. :) Good thing I have a beautiful reason to go out with friends or just myself. :) Love Make up!

I hope you enjoyed my blog post.

Love ya, guys!

4u2: Citrine Gemstone Eyeshadow

Hi, guys! I've been really busy last February because I was finishing all my school requirements and now I'm officially done with school. YEY!

I mentioned on my previous post about 4U2 eyeshadows and told you guys that they're super pigmented. And last February I bought their quad shadows. :)

I bought this in SM Marikina for P424.

What I like about it is its packaging. It's cute, small (convenient to bring) and elegant (silver packaging with mirror). The colors are very pigmented as you can see in pictures below.
(With out Flash)
This is just one swipe from the quad.

(With Flash)

I tried only the cream and the blue eyeshadow. :) I didn't put a lot because
I was too in love with the blue that I don't want to touch it. hehe.

I only like to put lighter eye make up since I just stayed at home. :)

yeah yeah.. I know. I still have to learn how to apply eye make up especially with the blending. :)

Anyway, I'll be updating more. :) Have a great day, guys!
