Love Your Skin... Love COCO Manila

I discovered this brand when my family and I went to Baguio for the Holy Week. I was enjoying the view at Camp John Hay when I noticed a very sophisticated kiosk which I thought was selling food like cupcakes and pastries. They even had a chandelier inside the tent so I was really curious.

When I stepped on the kiosk, I couldn't help but enjoy the scent and the ambiance of the place. The presentation of each products was very interesting. And to my surprise, the products weren't as edible as I thought.

The big slices of soaps were arranged creatively and they all looked yummy. One can't help but browse the store and find something to buy. The store looked like a local "LUSH" establishment.

YUM ^__^

The only thing that stopped me from buying these products was the price. I picked a small piece and the SA told me it costs over Php 100. I wanted to try their Charcoal Soap that guarantees your skin to lighten after using one bar. But it's too expensive for me. Maybe I'll buy next time we go back to Baguio. Or hopefully the business would expand and set up a store in Manila. ^__^

Anyway, I didn't let myself go home without buying something so I bought a facial mask which promises to lighten blemishes and improve skin firmness. I chose the Beekeeper's Potion Facial Mask.

Instructions: Dip your fingers into the face mask, rub the mixture on your face with circular upward motion for 15 minutes. Make sure to rub off whiteheads and blackheads leave on for another 10 minutes. Wash off with water to leave your face feeling silky smooth and glowing.

It says on the label to make it a once a week ritual but I use this facial mask twice a week. When I apply the mask and massage it on my skin, it feels warm and relaxing. The scent is quite strong if you smell it from the container but when applied on the face, it becomes tolerable.

It really does what it promises which is to leave my face smooth and glowing.

And it only cost Php 250.

I really hope COCO Manila would be able to expand especially here in Manila so that it can also showcase local products in the country's capital. Come to think of it... it's Coco Manila... and not Coco Baguio.

Teehee!

BTW I just want to thank my younger brother who took the pictures while I was browsing the shop. He's also interested in photography just like me. His course even requires him to have a dslr. -_- *ENVY* :P Anyway... thanks to my brother, I learned more about using SLRs. Now I can take pictures on my own. Lots of things to learn though.... ^___^

Here is a picture of him:

Nahhh.. I was just kidding. HAHAHAHA. Peace Gab.

I stole some of his pictures in facebook because, ironically, I don't have a decent photo of him. HAHAHA.

Have a great day everyone! :)

  3. Hi Locke! Yup they all look delicious and they smell nice too. Unfortunately they don't have an online store yet. The SA told me that that kiosk was the only "branch" and they've just started few months ago. If you get an opportunity to visit Baguio, you can locate them at Camp John Hay. ^___^

  4. Hello IyaV! Thanks for the comment. The mask is really good. I've been using it for almost 3 weeks now and although my blemishes aren't gone yet I noticed that they're less visible. And I don't need concealer anymore. ^__^ It must have worked!!! :)
