1. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain


PRICE: PHP 350* What really interests me with this product line is the long lasting effect of the stain on the lips. I want tinted lips and as much as possible I don't want to wear full and bold lipsticks. I want a lip product that will not fade easily even after drinking and eating. Another good thing about it is that it is a lip balm- it moisturizes your lips. Although it acts as a moisturizer, it is also kiss-proof hence the name kissable lips balm. :)

2. Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Foundation

I really want to try this product ever since Laura featured this on her Best Beauty Products of 2012 video. If only I have finished up all my foundation, then I would have bought this right away. My only concern about this product is the packaging because it is made of heavy glass. 3. Revlon Matte Lipstick in Smoked Peach

I had a school mate who wore this in school and it looked great on her lips. She is morena and the peachy color complimented her skin well. It's the closest shade to nude that doesn't make Pinay pale. The shade and texture is wearable and perfect for everyday school makeup. LOVE MATTE! :)  4. 5. Hard Candy Welcome Matte Mattifying Powder

Good Bye Oily T-zones! I am using foundation powder to mattify my face but it doesn't last long enough through out the day because of the humidity here in the Philippines. I think this product is worth a try because the packaging is really funky and the price is affordable. I saw in a review that it has a pink, heart-shaped sponge. 10.  Physicians Formula Covertoxten Powder in Translucent Medium
PRICE: PHP 500 Wrinkle Therapy? Now that makes me a lot curious. This Face powder claims to reduce visible wrinkles in 10 minutes. I don't have any wrinkles yet (I think). But it doesn't hurt to delay the formation of wrinkles on my face. Product Review: Maybelline The Falsies *Waterproof Formula*

Hehe. I tried to make a Video Review. :P 

What I like:

• It is affordable. I bought this for less than Php 500. I wanted to try the Magnum Mascara which was cheaper (with a 20% discount at that time) but I've read a lot of reviews about The Falsies so I opted to buy it. Still cheaper than other drugstore mascara though. ^__^

• It gives amazing volume and length on my lashes. I have extremely short lashes but this mascara made them stand out. 

• It doesn't have a strong smell. 

• It doesn't weigh down my lashes despite the number of coats I make. I tested it first without using my eyelash curler and it surprisingly made my eyelashes curled up; made less effort to curl my lashes.

• The packaging provides an instruction on how to get a maximum result. I love how my lashes turned out after application. 

• It is widely accessible. I bought mine in SM Marikina. Make sure to check it out during their monthly sales. Baka makadiscount pa kayo sa mascara. :)

What I don't like:

• It is difficult to remove with regular facial cleanser and water. Tip: To remove mascara residue, you can use baby oil or any makeup remover that you have.

• It is not really the False Lashes Effect that I was looking for but considering how short my lashes are, I think this product did a good job. One thing that made me buy this was that the saleslady was using this and her lashes looked so good. But maybe it was because she had longer lashes in the first place. :P

Is it worth the purchase? YES! I totally love it. I've been an avid user of Maybelline Mascara and so far this is the best I've tried. Product Review: Lingmei Luxuriant Curling Mascara

KKcenterHK sent me products to try and one of the items they sent me is the LINGMEI LUXURIANT CURLING MASCARA. I was very excited to try the product cause it promises longer lashes. I have short eyelashes and they're unnoticeable without mascara so I was happy to receive this product.

I received the item without a box so it did not have complete description of the product. But looking into the description on the mascara tube, I am assuming it promises to make your lashes up to 160% longer. At the same time it is a curling mascara so it should be able to hold and define the curls of the lashes. Lengthening + Defining Curls = LOVE

What I like:

• The mascara tube is super artsy. I love the gradient orange effect on the tube.

• It doesn't clump my lashes. I applied probably more than 2 coats just to see if it is buildable (for volume) and I can happily say I did not experience the spider eye effect. 

• It does lengthen my lashes. It reminds me of fiber mascara. 

• It holds the curls all day long. 

• It dries quickly. That is a plus for me because I have hooded eyelids. I don't want my mascara to leave black stains on my lids. 

• It cost around $15 (approx. Php 630) which is pretty reasonable; it's not really cheap but affordable. 

• The mascara can easily be removed with facial wash and water. No need to use oil. 

I am not blessed with long lashes. :P Good thing there is such a thing as mascara! :)

What I Don't Like:

• Lingmei is not locally available. You can buy this at KKcentek HK. 

• The product has a weird smell. It can be annoying for some.

Is it worth a purchase?

I have tried different mascaras and most of the mascaras I love using are difficult to remove. I am happy that this product does not clump my lashes and it is easy to remove. If you want to have a mascara that can lengthen and define your lashes, then you may try this product. I only wish this is available in the Philippines. :P
