Heya, Guys!

Last week I decided to go to a salon and have my hair dyed. I was so nervous because I don't know how it will turn out. But I was so curious on how I'd look like if my hair color is a bit lighter...

Well anyway.. Got my first paycheck. It was temporary because after that our ATM cards were available. I gave my hard earned money to my parents. They deserve it. :)

I kinda enjoyed my straight hair but I'm back to curly. :P

If you had a guy friend who asked you to take some "sexy" pictures of him...and he didn't want anyone else to know about them...would you consider it? Or would you feel totally awkward seeing him that way?

Umm.. I don't see the point of taking his "sexy pictures" and at the same time keeping them a secret. I mean.. it is not like he'll ask me to take his photo just so I can see him get "sexy". Otherwise, I suggest that he take his own pictures. :P I definitely will not consider it because yes... that is awkward and I bet no guy will ask me to do that. Well.. I hope. LMAO

Where are you working now? =D

I'm working in Makati. I'm an Etrade trainee and right now, I'm preparing for my Series 7 Exam. (Coz I need to be a licensed stock broker as a requirement for the position) As they say, it's not a walk in the park but it's worth the shot. If I don't pass.. byebye work. hello to other "options". Geez. Every time I use the word option I can't help but think about put and call options. :)

what will your reaction be when someone called you a very vain person?

hmm.. It depends on how that person will say it. I am vain. For me, being confident with the way I look (and am) is important in building my character. But I won't label myself as "too vain". If that person tells me that I am vain in a positive way, I'd definitely appreciate it. But for someone to call me "too vain" and judge me as "sobrang maarte"... Pare ito lang masasabi ko sayo... pag nakilala mo ko ng totoo (at hindi lang dahil sa FB friends tayo or what not)... tanggal arte mo. Haha. I want to look good just like everybody else. But I'm not vain enough in a sense that I'm self absorbed and all that I can think of is how great I am. Marunong naman akong tumanggap ng mga shortcomings ko. Tamang vain lang. Yung vain na nasa lugar. Yung vanity na puede kong kalimutan kung kinakailangan kasi mas mahalaga yung interes ng ibang tao. :D

NOTD+ Giveaway + Some updates

My Nail of the Day : Ever Bilena Rhum Spice. It's like a purple-ly silver color. It's really nice.

I tried painting my nails using bright colors like Carrot Cake (near hot pink shade) and Cherry Cobbler but I don't think they look good on my nails. O_o

Anyway, I'm so happy because I received a lot of things these past weeks. Last week, Ms. Locke sent me giveaway items that she posted on her blog. I was really surprised that I got more than I expected. I saw the picture of her giveaway and I believe she only showed the nail art stickers, pouch and three nail polishes. When I opened the package, all I can say is WOW. 

I wasn't able to include the Naive body wash. Boohoo to my cellphone's bluetooth. :( But oh well.. at least I was able to upload and edit most of her giveaway items. :D Again, to Ms. Locke, THANK YOU.

Another update.

Well, although today is a bad hair day, I enjoyed my work in the office. I really need to study hard because 1.) the company's paying me to study and pass the exam then get a license, 2.) I need to study 22 Chapters in two weeks plus another 2-3 weeks of intensive review and dry runs. 3.) If I pass, I'll be a Licensed US Stock Broker. I never thought my career will be finance-related but I know this is really a great milestone as I pursue my dream to become a corporate lawyer. Yeah.. Hardcore Finance.

See how thick that manual is? :P It's like a Finance book for 1 semester.

I really want to pass the test. I'm so lucky I was able to grab this opportunity because this is something I really want. I never thought of becoming a broker but to be able understand and participate in the US stock market is a dream for me. No, I'm not smart. I'm not even that good in accounting. -_- 

I'll take this challenge with a smile. Even if I don't pass the test, I'm still happy that I was able to qualify and be trained by the company I'm working for. I met a lot of great friends and mentors. 

I'm so excited. 

And yes... just as Rosie Hardy had tweeted the other day,

Hmm... Well I'd rather not see it that way... that I'll take good care of him because he's a nice catch. HAHA. But this will sure flatter him so thank you. I will take care of him not because of what he can give (or because he's good looking or smart or kind or sweet) but because I really really love him. So... Ralph... Thank you for not giving up. If you were to change something (like a trait/ugali, etc) to get the love of your life back, what would it be and why?

Hmm... Good thing I don't have too because we're still together. HAHA. But if there's something I'm improving on to make our relationship better, I'm trying to be more patient and understanding. I guess when it comes to traits, we've accepted each other. I mean... there are things I may not like about him, but that was never a reason to "un-love" him. (not really hate... but something like falling out of love) Same thing with me, he never left my side even at times we dislike each other. However, we need to be more mature so that we can accept the things that we discover about each other everyday. That's the most important thing- to accept- because as far as love is concerned... the one you love is always an exception no matter how many qualifications you try to find from your partner. If you find a person who's trying to change you BEFORE loving you completely, it's not a waste to turn that person down. There are times my boyfriend wants me to change or rather improve on something. But it was never a basis for him not to love me. Whether I do it or not, he still loves me. But then again, since I love him, I do what's best for our relationship. A part of it is never giving him up.

Any regrets in your life, so far?

umm... I wish I've drank enough milk during my puberty years so I could've grown taller. :D Kidding... I have a love and hate relationship with my height. ^___^ Anyway, my greatest regret would be not spending quality time with my family. When I was younger, I used to be aloof with my parents. I used to escape my dad's sermons and all that. :D But I know he just want to spend time talking to me. Same with my mom... SO... I'll try my best to become the best daughter I can be now that I'm more mature and older. :) Life is too short so I'll make the rest of my years the best years of my life... with my family, my love ones of course. cheers for the loving parents

Which do you prefer: MAC or NARS when it comes to eyeshadow?

Unfortunately, I haven't tried any of these brands. However I think MAC has a wider collection as far as eyeshadows are concerned. I watch a lot of youtube make up gurus and their staple brand is MAC. I love how pigmented MAC eyeshadows are. SO.. yeah.. I'd go for MAC if I can afford to buy any of their products. TEEHEE ^___^ On a second thought, I can afford MAC if I'm that desperate enough to use my savings (years of saving money.. and now I'm earning! yey). But oh well... I'm such a frugal person. :P
