Cause I'm Falling Down.

Falling Down
Avril Lavigne

If fears what makes us decide,
Our future journey,
I'm not along for the ride,
Cuz I'm still learning,
To try and touch the sun,
My fingers burning,
Before you're old you are young,
Yeah I'm still learning

[Chorus]

I am falling down,
Try and stop me,
It feels so good to hit the ground,
You can watch me,
Fall right on my face,
It's an uphill human race,
and I am falling down
I'm standing out in the street,
The earth is moving,
I feel it under my feet,
And I'm still proving,
That I can stand my ground,
And my feet are there, haven't washed my hair
Too be lost before you are found,
Don't mean you are losing

[Chorus]

Some day I'll live in a house
Etc., etc., etc.
But you know that's not for now
and for now I'm falling
down...down...down...,
down...down...down,
down...down...down,
Yeah e Yeah..Yeah e Yeah,

[Chorus]

I'm falling down,
I'm falling down..I'm falling down...
I'm falling....
Feels so good to hit the ground...
I am falling

Nail of the Day: AQmore's Turkey Blue in Matte Finish

A few months ago I won MissKatV's giveaway and I was entitled to choose two nail polishes. Here's one of them: Turkey Blue.

I've been loving the matte finish ever since I tried Etude House matte nail polishes. And now that I have a mattifying top coat, I'm addicted in applying it on my nail polish.

I love the packaging and unlike other nail polishes, it doesn't have a strong and harsh smell.

AQmore's Turkey Blue is a beautiful blue-green shade. I love the fact that it is water based and chemical free. This means that this product is very gentle on nails.

I love painting my nails and one thing I don't like about regular nail polishes is that they leave yellow stains. With this nail polish, I don't have to worry about yellow stains anymore. At the same time, I don't need to use acetone to remove it. I can simply peel it off by dipping my fingers in warm water for 30 seconds and the nail polish can be peeled of easily without damaging the nails. Moreover, it dries quickly and even faster with the mattifying top coat. Overall, it's a great nail polish for girls who are on the go.

Nail of the Day: Etude House's BR307 and PP904

Another Sem, another NOTD! :P

I went for a neutral look so I decided to use a nude shade from Etude House Nail Polish. Then to add a twist, I applied a darker nail polish on my fourth finger.

Etude House BR207 and PP904

Products I used:

From Left to Right: ABB Nail Lacquer, Tony Moly TC02, Etude House PP904, Etude House BR307

Have a great day, everyone! :)

Product Review: ABB Nail Lacquer

Have you heard of a mattifying top coat?

I became aware of this nail product when E.L.F released its own mattifying top coat. However, it's not available in the Philippines. I did see some online sellers who carry that product but I find it quite expensive including the shipping fee. So I decided to just let go of the idea. Anyway, I was able to buy matte nail polishes from Etude House. But then, last week, my mom and I went to 999 Divisoria and I saw a nail art store which sells a wide variety of nail tools. I had a hunch that they carry a mattifying top coat so I asked the SA. Unfortunately,  she's not aware of that type of top coat. I was about to leave the store when I saw this bottle (photo image above) and I was really curious about it. I asked the SA again about the bottle and she told me that it's a top coat. Now, usually top coats are colorless or, at least, transparent. I had this intuition that it's what I've been looking for all along. So I tested it on my nails and I was completely blown away.

It made my nail polish beautifully matte. I love it!

In terms of price, I was able to haggle it for Php 130. It's quite difficult to haggle in Divisoria nowadays especially if you're not buying a lot from one store. Unlike in China, you can really haggle for half the price. O_O Although, sellers can be scary sometimes. Once you have agreed with the price, you can never back out.

Anyway, unlike matte nail polishes, this lasts longer. I've previously reviewed Etude Matte Polishes and generally, they chip after a day or two. But when I used the mattifying top coat, my nail polish can last for a week.

What I really like about this product is the idea of being able to mattify any nail polish that I have. I don't have to buy individual matte nail polishes since I can use whatever I want and simply transform them to matte. Hence, it's a lot cheaper to just buy a mattifying top coat.

Thank you to whoever invented this!

PS. BTW, I heard from a friend that Etude House also released its mattifying top coat. You might want to check that out! :P

The Perfect Two

Hello, everyone! Another long weekend! YEHEY!

I just want to share the video that I made for Nani's sister who is getting married this coming Friday. I'm really happy for her because last year, she and her fiance became lawyers and, now, both of them are getting married. It's like every year is a new blessing. And their story is a perfect example of waiting for everything to fall in the right place. I'm not saying that there's something wrong with getting married early at a very young age but, we must admit, that marriage is not easy. We can't just walk in a relationship and say, "Hey, let's get married!" Or we can't just commit and get pregnant without thinking of stability because the reality is that we cannot walk out of a marriage as fast as we have walked in it. It's a lifetime commitment. And if in the middle of such commitment, you find out that you no longer want to be with your partner, it's going to be terrible.  But hey, this post is not about that.

CONGRATULATIONS ATE BUD AND KUYA NIKKO! <3

Credits to: SIRMASTEROWL for the wonderful animation.
Thank you for allowing me to use your work.

For more details, just check out the youtube video page! :)

We may have different views about relationships but for me, it's better to prepare a stable future before settling down. Whenever I think of marriage, it really puts a smile on my face because the thought of being with the person I love for the rest of my life makes me very happy. That's my ultimate dream: to have a family. I have other dreams like being a successful lawyer, having multiple businesses, travelling around the world and accomplishing other wonderful things but I dedicate them all to my family in the future. I am nothing without the people I love. I cannot live just by thinking of myself. I always see myself being with other people. And that's me- relationships are very important to me. And I am hoping that in the future, I'll be able to build a family full of love and happiness.

PS. Ang ganda ng Ate ni Nani.. tas guapo rin si Kuya Nikko. Wahahaha! Parang naexcite ako kung ano magiging itsura ng anak nila. Sigurado ako super cute. ^___^ Excited lol!

Shoes for School

Semestral Break is about to end so I decided to buy new shoes for school. I only commute via fx and LRT to my college and most of the time, I just walk. Hence, comfortable shoes are important for students like me. I wanted new flats that can go along with smart casual outfits and at the same time, I wanted a pair of shoes that has heels but  at most 2 inches tall. So I bought two pairs; I bought one from SM Department Store and the other from 999 Divisoria.

From left to right: Parisian, DS Style

I want to look taller but I don't want my feet to suffer from wearing high heels. Good thing, Parisian shoes were on sale and I bought a pair with a 50% discount. I love it when SM department store offer big discounts. It saves me a lot of money. Originally, this pair is worth Php 499.75 but I only paid around Php250.

I love its simplicity of the design and the color can easily match up with any outfit. At the same time, I feel comfortable wearing this shoes.

I LOVE PARISIAN

The other pair I bought was from 999 Divisoria. I love the metallic silver material of the shoes and the black stripe as an additional detail. The design is simple yet chic. I bought this pair for Php 250 although, initially, it was priced at Php 280.

I love shoes! Now, I have two pairs for a total of Php 500.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great long weekend!

Makeup Storage

Last Monday, my mom, my brother and I went to Blue Wave Marquinton for dinner and, upon walking on the entrance of the mall, we saw a Japan Store. I was excited to check the store because I love browsing Japan made products. And while browsing, I saw a lot of storage boxes that I can use for my make up and I found this adorable brown storage box that has multiple compartments. Previously, I found the perfect storage for my lippies and now I found a great storage box for my makeup brushes and other cosmetics.

4 compartments in different sizes

It is plastic yet sturdy. I love the color and the sizes of the compartments. I bought this for only Php 88 but you could  find a bigger storage box with the same price in Japan Store. I opted for a smaller one since I'm just going to use it for my make up products.

If you are looking for affordable storage boxes, I highly recommend you to visit Japan Store. You can also check out Daiso since most of the items they offer are similar.

That's it Pansit Bihon!

Have a great day!

Outfit of the Day: Stripes and Prints

Some OOTD shots I wasn't able to post last week:

BNW Stripes Blazer (I bought from Divisoria)
Lace Blouse ( My mom's closet)
White Skinny Jeans (SM department store)
Wooden Wedges with Animal Prints (MANELS)

I love my Manels' wedges! <3 Thanks to my Pangga who bought this pair as a gift.

I think this was the first time I wore a blush that was noticeable. :P I am not a blush person (more of a bronzer/hightlight girl) but I love Beauty Treat's Mineral Blush in Apricot. The shade really suits me well.

I won Valerie's Giveaway! :) Luck was on my side last month.

 Thank you Val!

Aside from the items I won, she sent me a pair of contact lenses. It was my first time to wear contact lenses successfully. My friend helped me because my eyes were teary and I didn't know how to put them on.

Before

After (Kalurkey ang paglagay)

Cool right? I'd probably post a review once I get the hang of it. I haven't worn it ever since I had my friend helped me put it on. I'm a little scared to put it on my own. -_- But I hope I'd learn soon. ^__^

A fellow blogger and a long time friend, Juju, took a shot of my false lashes. hihihi. Thanks, Juju!

That's all for now!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
