I won MISSKATV's Giveaway

I love nail polishes. And if you are a follower of my blog, you might have read that my nail polish collection is growing rapidly. I'm not saying this to brag about my collection. In fact, the most expensive brand I have is China Glaze which I won on a giveaway. I rarely buy expensive nail polishes because I believe that our local affordable brands will do.  I buy Korean nail polishes too but I don't if they're over Php 150 per bottle. My current favorites are Chic, Carress and Bobbie. As for Caronia, I only have three shades and the only shade I love is On-the-Go. 

BUT... whenever I get an opportunity to try international brands (which are quite expensive), I'd grab that chance to try something new. Then I saw Misskatv's review about AQmore, a water based nail polish brand that (1) does not leave yellow stain on nails; (2) does not contain chemicals; (3) is convenient and easy to remove; (4) does not need nail polish remover; and (5) meets international testing. 

She held a giveaway a month ago and, unexpectedly, I won.

I am entitled to get 2 Aqmore Nail polishes. Yey! Let me just share with you the shades I chose.

And because red emphasizes more how yellow my teeth are (probably because of drinking too much coffee), I feel obliged to buy Crest White Strips. Lovely Char of Yellow Yum made a review about it and I wanna try it too!

A Quick Room Tour

I did some cleaning in my room because I noticed my shoes were everywhere and I haven't used the shoe organizer I bought ages ago. I made a quick room tour so you can see how "organized" my room is. HAHAHA! And you'd know how nerdy I am because I have a wall of Calculus formulas and two of my favorite literary pieces. 

^__^ 

I'm such a nerd you'd see my "library corner" where I put the books I've read. I wasn't able to include my cabinet full of books though. BTW I have a separate "corner" where I currently study for school so you won't see my law books here... and all the cases piled on the table. boohoo. :)

Lippies Storage

I was browsing for some school supplies when I saw this storage box in the Office Warehouse at Gateway.

 I love the color. It is so me... ^ ^

From the moment I laid my eyes on it, I was very sure that this is the perfect storage for my lip cosmetics. 

I bought it for Php117. I was pretty sure I could buy something like this for a lower price. I could probably buy boxes with prettier designs yet cheaper than this but I was totally sold because of the compartments of the box. It was like it was meant for my lippies. HAHA. 

What a great box. :P

OOTD: Checkmate!

This is what I wore today. If you plan to wear checkered shirts/blouse, wear plain colored pants that compliments the color of your top. I love the color combo of the blouse- dirty white and gray- and it has small crystals on the sleeves which are really cute too. I paired my blouse with my white pants and a mahogany colored slim belt. :P This will also look good with black pants.

The blouse is really longer but I tucked it in so it will look more of a smart casual outfit.  I bought this for Php 100 but I couldn't remember the name and location of the mall where I bought it. I got this when my family and I were on the way home from Baguio last year.

If you want to look more sophisticated with your outfit, you may wear pearls as accessories. Pearls are simple yet classy. You can never go wrong wearing pearls. :) 

I wore heels in this pic but I didn't wear them in school. I rarely wear heels since I only commute and I have to walk on uneven surfaces. Instead, I wear flats. ^___^ 

Heels can definitely make an outfit more appealing since it may improve posture. I don't know if everybody would agree to this but heels makes a woman look more mature (in a good way) and chic.
